i'd love to discuss this more with you. ...hey ljk,<br /><br />i'd love to discuss this more with you. i agree with you that lds feminists tend towards "pure" feminist issues, but i think it's more a matter of addressing their own experience than a disinterest in transnational/po-co/women of color issues. i'd really like to see some discussion of those issues. drop me a line at ameliaparkin at gmail dot com and we can talk more about the possibility of some guest posting (we love to get good guest posts).ameliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516187741132836325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3965218.post-21843542238148541022009-04-08T18:36:00.000-06:002009-04-08T18:36:00.000-06:00I want to know and love my world. i echo that.Hi A...I want to know and love my world. i echo that.<BR/><BR/>Hi Amelia - Finally, i got a chance to visit Exponent for the first time after Women Mormonism conference in Claremont. I'm the one interested in intersections of race, gender, class issues and you suggested I do a guest post...I would love to hear thoughts from other people on these issues. But first, maybe an online dialogue with you and a few others on where everyone is at? I get the feeling that LDS feminists are completely focused on "pure" feminist issues ie. 2nd wave, and not so interested in transnational/post-colonial/women of color issues. What do you think?jenntoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08866338367068359897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3965218.post-28160146284464090632008-10-13T05:43:00.000-06:002008-10-13T05:43:00.000-06:00Beautiful post.
